The first studio/apartment was on 17.7 sqm. Richard started to explore the human body. In 1993 he moved to a bigger studio which brought in light and an indoor garden. He started to surround himself with tropical plants and continued the exploration of the human body. When he moved to Bali in 1997, he set up a small and simple studio in the mountain village of Ubud. He was strongly influence by the tropical landscape of mountains and rice fields. In 2006 he moved from the mountains of Ubud to the beach in Sanur. There he built his home and new studio which brought back the space and light.
